this one's more like a diary entry:dear diary,
i bought a hair-dye package in carrefour, expecting it to be red, but it was merely a red highlight. so my hair is still very black. my mom had made me sit on a stool too small for my butt while she took almost two long hours dying red streaks in my hair.
let me enlighten you on the process so u can bring more colour to your pages, dear diary, that my writing might not do.
1)sit on baby stool and wrap newspapers around your shoulders(oops, all you have is spine..a book spine). use clothes pegs to hold the newspaper together. you may now pretend you are a super-human with a newspaper cape.
2)remove glasses if you wear one and let mum take her time dying you...yes, you will feel dead bored. however, watching the dye react with oxygen and turn from white to red was cool.
3)sit around and leave dye be for 30-45 minutes depending on desired colour intensity.
4)now begins the straining process of washing. mum made me go out to the back sink because the dye sticks to the toilet floor tiles.
5)first conditioning:provided in hair-dye package. leave 2-3 minutes.
6)wash lightly with shampoo, phew my arms are so tired at this point.
7)second conditioning:the usual conditioner you use after shampooing.leave 2-3 minutes.
8)wash all goo and gunk from hair(...or pages, hope they're super-durable). towel-dry simply.
9)third conditioning:apply leave-on conditioner.
then, i lied down on the white-cushioned sofa and rest while wathing tv. when i got up, uh-oh. after all that washing there was still dye on my scalp and it smeared onto the sofa covers. its okay, i just flipped the cushion around. mum didnt get angry. she was playing www.isketch.com and had won so she was in good spirits. yay for technology!
and then i dyed ken's hair, mwahahaha. he kept questioning my credibility and of course, i just looked at him, merely a glance, and replied "of course i can do it. im a pro." (i've never done it before). he spent the next 1/2 an hour contemplating his decision to let me dye his hair. my mum was too tired to do it for him that night and the next afternoon he was going out with his friends. vanity prevailed. i dyed his sort-of mohawk and it was a sucess!! but even after all that work i did for him he still cant make me a piece of jam bread. then i thought of dying my cats hair but figured she wouldn't like it. so i just went to watch tv. "Reaper" was on. yes, now i know how to rip the pages of books with ultimate speed.

losing a friend, a slug.
i probably didnt do much today except wash my shoes from ywc-hahaha. the very ones used during the gua kandu expedition. the shoes were used, muddied, packed into a plastic bag and abandoned on the front porch for days, forgotten. finally i remembered them since im going to another camp this saturday(youth camp) and would need those poor shoes again. i washed and scrubbed and amazed myself at the effort i was able to apply onto those though muddy stains. they were cleaned! however, i deserted my shoes again and it rained. they got soaked. i brought them in, and placed them close to the entrance so that they feel better but not to deep into the warmth of the house because i didnt want them to think i cared that much.
about an hour later, ken, my brother yelled slugs!! the slugs had come in to seek shelter from the rain(i think) but they still wanted a moist surrounding that my shoes provided without any trouble, except the journey into my left shoe one poor, slow, overweight slug had to endure. man, it was fat. i used a thick wad of tissue to slowly pry of the slug away from the walls of my shoe, held it in the tissue and tossed it outside, at the same time not letting the wad of tissue get tossed away along wih the slug(which required skill i may add). while watching the darkness of the night swallow up the slug i heard a loud "piak"... and i know the slug had landed. my shoes were sad to lose their one true companion who chose to stay with them despite the smell and worn-out look they have. the fate of the slug unknown, i switched of the lights with an evil grin and left my shoes to drown in their misery of losing their one true friend who ever took the initaitive to get close to them, much less to get into them, the slug.
